Local communities will hold egg hunts this month. The following egg hunts are scheduled:

11 a.m. April 15, Freeport Community Park, Community Park Road, Freeport. The Freeport Kiwanis Club will host the event.

11 a.m. April 15, Roebling Park, corner of North Rebecca and Water streets, Saxonburg. The Saxonburg Area Business Association will host “Easter in the Park” for children younger than 10. It will include a strolling Easter bunny, “golden egg” prizes and food. The event is free and no registration is necessary. Arrive early to find parking.

Community egg hunt information should be received by the Community Department two weeks in advance of the event.
