Stanley Sternik

Stanley Sternik of Butler celebrated his 90th birthday with a family dinner at the Carlton Restaurant in Pittsburgh.

Sternik was born May 7, 1922, in New Jersey.

Sternik is retired from the Federal Aviation Administration working at the National Aviation Facilities Experimental Center.

He moved to Butler following his retirement in 1991.

Sternik is a World War II veteran who served in the Pacific Theater.

He is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, the Butler Antique Car Club, Kiwanis. American Legion, The Butler Sportsmen Club and St. Fidelis Catholic Church.
