4:26 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Jason N. Delano, 46, of Butler struck another vehicle on South Benbrook Road.

Alan Cornman, 46, of Templeton, Armstrong County, was the other driver.

No one was injured but Cornman’s vehicle had to be towed.

Police cited Delano for driving at an unsafe speed.

1:18 p.m. Monday — A heavy-duty truck driven by Martin R. Southworth, 35, of Chicora was struck from behind by a car on Route 28 south at Exit 8 in O’Hara Township, Allegheny County.

A police report said Southworth was traveling about 5 mph and “providing protection” for a PennDOT crew when the crash happened.

The other driver, Robby Smouse, 42, of Ford City was cited for careless driving.

Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement

Shubrew LLC of Spring Street in Harmony was cited for allegedly failing to have its board-approved manager complete RAMP — Responsible Alcohol Management Program — training within 180 days of the board’s approval of the appointment.
