Ed and Jane Weichey of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the Springfield Grille in Mars.

The former Jane Miller married Weichey on Sept. 18, 1954 at St. Paul's Reformed Church in Butler.

They have two children, Glenda Macurdy of Saxonburg and Joyce McCandless of Cabot. They also have four grandchildren.

Weichey is retired from Continental Baking, where he worked as a mechanic for 28 years. He is currently a driver for the Diehl Automotive Group.

Mrs. Weichey is retired from Magnetics, where she worked for 28 years. She enjoys bowling and is a member of the Willing Workers organization at Hill United Presbyterian Church.

The couple attends Hill United Presbyterian Church.
