Lois S. Kuny
Lois S. Kuny, 81, died Friday in Good Samaritan Hospice House. She formerly lived in Bell Acres.
Lois was born March 4, 1929, in Duff City, Pa., a daughter of Elwood and Sara (Martin) Schroeder, who are deceased.
Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years, Stanley Kuny Jr. of Butler, and two sons, Stanley Kuny III and his wife, Kathy, of Butler; and David Kuny Sr. and his wife, Sandi, of North Carolina.
Five grandchildren also survive,Kiersten Venderlic of Gibsonia, Victoria Kuny of Seven Fields, Jodi Hardi and her husband, Brian, of North Carolina, Jammey LaNeve and her husband, Nathan, of North Carolina, and David Kuny Jr. and his wife, Meredith, of North Carolina.
Her eight grandchildren who survive her are Jeffery Barrick; Nathan, Justin, Brianna, Samantha and Willoh Hardy; and Tyler and Riley LaNeve.
She is also survived by her brother, John and his wife, Mitzi, Schroeder of Perrysville, and a longtime friend, Anna Mae Eberle of West View.
Preceding her in death were three sisters, Grace Hunt, Veryl Schmidt and Ethel Hargest; and two brothers, Dale and Lester Schroeder.
