Township will assist with cleanup efforts
BUTLER TWP — The township again will participate in the Great American Cleanup of Pennsylvania from March 1 to May 31.
The event is held in conjunction with Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup.
Those interested cleaning up road in Butler Township can register by contacting the township administration building at 724-283-3430, Ext. 212, or email mlove@butlertwp.org.
Participants need to provide a contact person, number of volunteers in the group, where the cleanup is planned and the date.
The township will provide gloves, safety vests and trash bags. Once the cleanup is done, groups should contact the township so that the bagged trash can be picked up.
