1 a.m., Oct. 30 — Police are investigating a burglary at the Burger King at 1400 W. Main St. between 1 and 3 a.m. Unknown people entered the restaurant and took several thousand dollars from the safe.11:30 p.m., Nov. 6 — Clay Mincey, 20, of 612 Stockton Ave., Grove City, reported an incident of vandalism to his vehicle. Three tires were slashed on his 2000 Pontiac Grand Am between 11:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 6, while it was in front of the residence.9 a.m. Friday — Sulien Hang, 38, of 712 Rebecca Ave., Grove City, was arrested on simple assault charges from a domestic incident, which took place at the residence. She was arraigned before District Judge Lawrence Silvis and released.Monday — Diana Rihel, 56, of 325 Garden Ave., Grove City, reported that a small, wooden jewelry box containing rings, pendants and earrings was taken from her residence between early summer and Oct. 28. The estimated value of the missing jewelry is $6,500.Tuesday — A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with theft by unlawful taking at Grove City High School. The juvenile took a calculator belonging to the school. Charges are pending.2:30 a.m., Tuesday — Thomas Killian, Kimberly McGarvey and Crystal Morrison, all neighbors in the 500 block of North Broad Street, reported that their cars had been spray painted after 2:30 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to call polivr.
2:52 a.m., Nov. 3 — Alicia Garcia, 21, a Slippery Rock University student, was charged with a DUI in the Alumni lot on campus.9:38 p.m., Nov. 5 — Matthew Yelkovich, 20, an SRU student, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the Rock Apartments on Rock Pride Drive.8:24 p.m., Aug. 29 — Frederick Delmonte, 53, a non-student, was charged with indecent exposure at the University Union.12:09 a.m., Oct. 31 — Jack Peluso-Hoffman, 19, an SRU student, was charged with making terroristic threats against university officials in Suite D residence hall.
1:50 a.m. Wednesday — Richard Spinnweber, 27, of Lyndora and a 17-year-old boy were charged with criminal mischief after they allegedly smashed mailboxes from Carbon Center Road in Summit Township to the intersection of Welter and Fallecker roads in Oakland Township, where they crashed while riding in a car.Police advise that anyone whose mailbox was damaged on the following roads, Carbon Center, Donaldson, Landgraf, Gamelands or Welter, should contact the barracks at 724-284-8100.12:51 a.m. Wednesday — William Sotak, 42, of Hilliards was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township.9:30 p.m. Tuesday — A 15-year-old boy from Pittsburgh escaped from Summit Academy in Summit Township. The teen was caught after he allegedly stole items from a car on Freeport Road in Jefferson Township Wednesday morning.7:53 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Kelli Jo Mato, 29, of Butler struck a deer on Route 68 in Forward Township.4:11 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Camaron Harris, 19, of Prospect was forced off the road and into a ditch by an unknown driver of an unidentified, gold sport utility vehicle while both vehicles were traveling south on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.8 a.m. Tuesday — Someone between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday damaged a mailbox and wooden post belonging to Carole Ann Stevens on County Line Road in Marion Township.Monday — A thief used credit cards belonging to Rudolf Missler of Cabot to buy items on the Internet. The items, illegally purchased between Oct. 3 and Nov. 12, were shipped to Circleville, Ohio.9:50 p.m. Sunday — Someone driving a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer crashed on Hannahstown Road in Jefferson Township then fled the scene. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.Oct. 22 — Someone made an unauthorized purchase via the Internet using the credit card of Cynthia Jo Arturo of Butler.
8:56 p.m. Wednesday — An armed robbery was reported at the Heritage Tobacco and Wine Cellars store atPrime Outlets in Springfield Township.The unknown suspect is described as a black man, about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, with a husky build. The robber was wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans.No injuries were reported. No other information was available this morning. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the barracks at 724-662-6162.1:11 p.m. Saturday — Two people were injured in a four-vehicle crash at Routes 208 and 258 in Springfield Township.The crash occurred when a truck driven by Dennis Guthrie, 36, of Sandy Lake struck the rear of a car driven by Lourdes Lim, 67, of Grove City.The collision forced Lim's vehicle into a car driven by Phyllis Umstead, 59, of Grove City. In turn, Umstead's vehicle struck a car driven by Albert Veronick, 64, of Bradford Woods, Allegheny County.Police said Lim and a passenger in her car, Felisa Limkinso, 76, of the Philippines, suffered unknown injuries.
8:20 p.m. Sunday — A2001 Pontiac Grand Am, earlier reported stolen from Butler County, was found at Route 422 and Old Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Joseph Bosle of Pittsburgh owns the car.
