Wilson 50th Anniversary
Harold and Thelma Wilson of Portersville will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house hosted by their children from 1 to 4 p.m. May 30 at the Scott Township Fire Hall in Harlansburg.
Wilson married the former Thelma Bickel on May 11, 1959.
They have five children, Marjorie Raybuck of Falls Creek, William Wilson of Ellwood City, David Wilson of Portersville, Jerry Wilson of Portersville and Mary Lou Niglio of Mercer.
They also have 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Wilson works as a dairy farmer in Slippery Rock Township. He enjoys farming, watching sports and collecting antiques.
Mrs. Wilson worked at NEPCO then retired from Wal-Mart after 12 years. She enjoys making crafts, traveling and playing the accordion. She belongs to the Senior Extension Homemaker Club and is a former 4-H leader.
The Wilsons belong to Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church where Mr. Wilson is a deacon. Both belong to the Laurel Travel Club and the former Senior Extension Triple M Club.
