CDC raises food bank donations
CRANBERRY TWP — The Community Development Corporation of Butler County raised food and money for a food bank Thursday.
The donations were collected at the CDC’s second annual “Thanks to Investors” event, which was held at the Pittsburgh Marriott North.
More than 50 members and guests of the CDC donated a combined 61 jars of peanut butter, 50 jars of jelly, and $100 to Gleaners Food Bank to support families in the Cranberry Township area.
Ken Raybuck, the executive director of the CDC, said in a press release that he hopes the items collected can make the holiday season a little brighter for people in need.
