The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

June 8 — James R. Dietz, 36, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors terroristic threats and simple assault after police said he brandished a knife and said he would slit someone’s throat June 8 on West New Castle Street.

Butler Township

June 9 — Kimberly M. Kiser, 45, of Butler, was charged with five felony forgeries after police said she admitted to forging five checks amounting to $905 in March.

June 8 — Samantha R. Summers, 32, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and a summary harassment charge after police said she allegedly bit, scratched, and punched her boyfriend during an altercation June 7.

June 8 — Bruce L. Dowell, 63, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and a summary harassment charge after police said he allegedly threw his girlfriend to the ground and kicked her June 8.

June 8 — Bryan J. Brown, 41, of Butler, was charged with felony retail theft after police said he attempted to leave Walmart on June 6 with more than $500 worth of merchandise without paying.

State Police, Butler

June 9 — Johnathan G. Fennell, 36, of Boyers, was charged with two misdemeanors for driving under the influence after police said they stopped him at a checkpoint May 28 on Route 8, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a breath test showed Fennell’s blood-alcohol content at .124%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.

June 8 — Chad E. Stroup, 47, of Prospect, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him June 3 on Route 422, Franklin Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and breath test showed Stroup’s blood-alcohol content at .170%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.

June 8 — Dylan C. Lusk, 31, of Saxonburg, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs and several traffic citations after police said they stopped him May 25 on Sunset Drive, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Lusk’s blood-alcohol content at .356%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.

June 7 — Danny L. Coleman, 23, of Renfrew, was charged with two felony thefts after police said he had a vehicle repossessed and towed that was not his from the owner’s residence Sept. 24, 2021 in Jefferson Township after a dispute over the vehicle’s ownership.

June 7 — Joseph A. Ferderbar, 44, of Valencia, was charged with felony careless driving and two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him March 31 on Interstate 79, Worth Township. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of Buprenorphine in Ferderbar’s blood.

June 7 — Richard Anay, 39, of Newark, N.Y., was charged with three misdemeanors for possessing drugs and marijuana after police said they stopped him on Interstate 79, Worth Township for a traffic violation. Police said OcyContin and marijuana were found following a search of the vehicle.

State Police, Kittanning

June 8 — Eric S. McGee, 50, of Butler, was charged with a misdemeanor for carrying a firearm without a license after police said they stopped him April 27 on Main Street, Butler. Police said McGee had a pistol mounted under the vehicle’s steering wheel and did not possess a concealed carry permit.
