SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:
Michael J. Delk, 44, of Sarver waived to court charges of driving under the influence, careless driving and a lane violation, filed March 5 by state police.
Justin Freyermuth, 21, of Cabot was held for court on charges of DUI, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and a lane violation, filed March 11 by state police.
Donald A. Gaviglia, 33, of Butler was held for court on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license-DUI related and speeding, filed Feb. 11 by Saxonburg police
Donald J. Kern, 57, of Saxonburg was held for court on charges of DUI, not using turn signals and not wearing a seat belt, filed Feb. 12 by state police.
Joshua A. Krovak, 20, of Slippery Rock was held for court on charges of possessing a prohibited offensive weapon, filed March 13 by state police.
James B. Smith, 52, of Saxonburg waived to court a charge of bad checks, filed March 10 by Saxonburg police.
BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Jessica L. Crawford, 23, of Worthington, Armstrong County, was held for court on two counts of retail theft and charges of receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended license, filed Jan. 5 by township police.Michael M. Harris, 23, no known address, was held for court on charges of burglary trespass, simple assault, harassment, false identification to police, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, filed March 31 by township police.James A. Hettick, 22, of Magadore, Ohio, pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct, theft of services and public drunkenness, filed April 5 by township police. Hettick was ordered to pay $595 in restitution, fines and court costs.Timothy A. Houtz, 26, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed April 6 by township police.Jamie L. John, 31, of Butler waived to court four counts of bad checks in two separate complaints filed March 3 by township police.Kristen A. Metelmann, 27, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft, filed Feb. 22 by township police. Metelmann was ordered to pay $453.50 in fines and court costs.Helena M. Norris, 52, of Valencia waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and a lane violation, filed March 11 by township police.Nicholas W. Pipher, 19, of Butler waived to court charges of trespass and criminal mischief filed April 6 by township police.Lazaro M. Tavira, 29, of Butler was held for court on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance, filed March 30 by state police.Jesse L. Vickers Jr., 45, of Butler waived to court a charge if theft of lost or mislaid property, filed March 23 by township police.

Higley, 18, of Prospect waived to court charges of burglary, trespass, theft, receiving stolen property, false swearing, unsworn falsification to authorities, false reports to law enforcement authorities and criminal mischief, filed March 3 by Prospect police.Krystal L. Kohl, 22, of Harrisville waived to court charges of driving under the influence and driving without headlights on, filed Feb. 8 by Slippery Rock University police.David M. McMullen, 26, of Spruce Creek, Huntingdon County, was held for court on charges of DUI, careless driving and failing to keep right, filed Feb. 8 by SRU police.Lucas A. Pattison, 22, of Grove City waived to court charges of DUI and driving the wrong way on a one-way street, filed Feb. 16 by Slippery Rock police.Dashawn D. Scott, 18, of Farrell, Mercer County, waived to court charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, filed Feb. 3 by SRU police.

Burd, 60, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence and a lane violation, filed Feb. 3.Neil R. Kurowski, 32, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, hit-and-run, a lane violation, improperly backing up on a road, failing to stop and render aid after an accident, and not wearing a seat belt, filed Feb. 25.Stephen A. Smallwood, 34, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, a lane violation and not notifying authorities of a change of address, filed March 8.Jesse E. Speicher, 29, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, a lane violation, not using turn signals, a lighting violation and not wearing a seat belt, filed March 28.
District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Steve Smith, 42, no address given, waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 30 by Adams Township police with computer theft, computer trespass, unlawful use of a computer and unlawful duplication.Sandra Jean Matuke, 33, of Evans City waived her case to court. She was charged Oct. 12 by the state police with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.Douglas Paul Antanaitis, 43, of Portersville had his case held to court. He was charged June 28 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving.Benjamin Patrick Pegher, 24, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged Oct. 25 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving.Christopher S. Dora, 36, of Parma, Ohio, waived his case to court.
