Maurice 'Al' Hoak

Maurice Alan “Al” Hoak, 59, of Saxonburg passed away Thursday at his home.

Born Aug. 13, 1951, in Harrison Township, Allegheny County, he was the son of Melvin S. Hoak Sr. and Nora Mae Grunden Hoak.

He was retired.

He was a member of the Saxonburg Fire Police, the Butler County Fire Police and the Pennsylvania Fire Police.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and cars.

Surviving are his three brothers, Melvin (Donna) Hoak Jr. of Cabot, Wayne (Judy) Hoak of North Jackson, Ohio, and Terry (Patricia) Hoak of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

<B>HOAK</B> — Friends of Maurice Alan “Al” Hoak, who died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Middlesex Methodist Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
