6:49 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Heather Porter, 37, of Butler and a car driven by Helen Bacher, 54, of Butler collided at the intersection of East Jefferson and Franklin streets. No one was injured. All of the occupants in both vehicles were wearing seat belts. Porter, who drove the wrong way on the one-way East Jefferson Street, told police she didn't know it was a one-way street. No charges were filed.10:51 a.m. Thursday — A tractor-trailer driven by Brian Althouse, 50, of Hamburg, Pa., was traveling on East Pearl Street and struck a tree limb, which fell onto a parked pickup truck owned by Steven Rodriguez, 56, of Butler in his driveway at 431 Franklin St.4:55 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Joseph O'Brien, 17, of Fenelton and a car driven by Darcy Miller, 33, of Butler collided at the intersection of North Cliff and East Brady streets. No one was injured.12:45 a.m. Tuesday — Candice Fawn Cady, 24, of Butler turned herself in at the city police station for having warrants for her arrest. She had one bench warrant from the Butler County Sheriff's office and two fugitive warrants from county detectives. Cady was jailed in the Butler County Prison.2:56 a.m. Sunday — Mark Zolkowski, 36, of Gibsonia was charged with driving under the influence and going the wrong way on a one-way street following a traffic stop on East Jefferson Street.Sunday — James Preston of Butler reported a hit-and-run accident in which an unknown vehicle struck his pickup truck sometime before 12:10 a.m. while it was parked on Whippo Avenue.

Friday — Karl Edward Walker, 22, of Kittanning was charged in connection with a Feb. 23 burglary of the Antonace residence at 1649 Freeport Road. After being arraigned before District Judge Gary DeComo, Walker was released on $15,000 bond. No further information about the burglary was available Saturday morning.8:50 a.m. Tuesday — An SUV driven by Francesca John, 46, of Renfrew crossed the center line of Route 85 in Cowanshannock Township, Armstrong County, and hit a guardrail before colliding with a car driven by Mario Salizzoni, 31, of Kittanning. The impact sent the car across the eastbound lane into a guardrail. Salizzoni was taken to ACMH Hospital for minor injuries. John was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
