6:19 a.m. Friday — Amber Jane Hodak, 24, of Butler was arrested on an outstanding Butler County warrant in the area of Pullman Square and taken to Butler County Jail.8:13 p.m. Thursday — William J. Kunkle, 40, of Butler was charged with public drunkenness and transported to Butler County Jail after police saw him on South Main Street when he was supposed to be on house arrest.2:48 p.m. Thursday — Christopher George Shunker, 27, of Butler was arrested at a residence in the 600 block of Eau Claire Street for several outstanding felony warrants.7:50 p.m. Wednesday — An 11-year-old Butler boy was charged in juvenile court with simple assault following a fight with a 12-year-old Butler boy at Broad Street School.10 p.m. Monday — A 16-year-old Butler girl was charged in juvenile court with simple assault after she allegedly bit and scratched her 43-year-old mother during an argument over a cell phone at a residence on Monroe Street.2:17 a.m. March 8 — David J. Lane, 36, of Butler was charged with public drunkenness and possession of counterfeit subscriptions after he was allegedly found stumbling around the A-Plus on West Jefferson Street with crushed pills in his pocket, later determined to be Dihydrocodeinone.
6:51 p.m. Thursday — James Scialabba, 19, of Verona was charged with retail theft after he allegedly tried to take a portable camcorder from Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.Tuesday — Matthew Murphy, 32, of Coraopolis was charged with identity theft, false identification to law enforcement, unsworn falsification to law enforcement, speeding, driving under suspension DUI-related, carrying and exhibiting driver's license and driving at safe speed following a traffic stop on Route 8 in Bon Aire on March 6.
4 p.m. Friday — Someone tried to force open the front and back doors of a house at 341 Ray Road in Marion Township belonging to Donald L. Reiland of Harrisville between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday.1:55 a.m. Friday — Danielle E. Wagner, 21, of Slippery Rock was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Normal Avenue near Center Street in Slippery Rock.2:05 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Ok J. Kline, 50, of New Castle crashed into an embankment on Route 108 in Slippery Rock. Kline was wearing a seat belt, and no injuries were reported.
March 22 — Someone pumped about $30 in gas into a red Ford truck then left without paying at Sheetz, 1535 Main St., Springfield Township. Anyone with information should call police at 724-662-6162.
