Evaline M. Lowers
Evaline M. Lowers, 83, of Foxburg went home to be with the Lord at 12:10 a.m. Monday at the Grove Manor Nursing Home in Grove City.
Mrs. Lowers was born in the village of Dutch Hill, Perry Township, Clarion County, Oct. 2, 1927. She was the daughter of Fred and Erma Barger Foust.
She was a member of the Park Hill Church of God in West Freedom.
Mrs. Lowers was a homemaker, and she enjoyed cooking, baking and the company of her family. She also enjoyed cooking at the Whitehall Campground and Westminster Highlands, both in Emlenton.
Mrs. Lowers was married in Parker to Robert Lowers on Feb. 5, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1992.
Surviving are a son, Rick Lowers and his wife, Diane, of Cochranton; a daughter, Diane Page of Foxburg; three grandchildren, Carrie Vercuski and her husband, Scott, of Aurora, Ohio, Rory J. Page of Butler and Crystal M. Page of Emlenton; and two step-grandchildren, Tara Osborne of Sharon and Cindy Grazioli of East Brady. Also surviving are a sister, Jessie Travis of Grove City; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Marshall and Agatha Black; and four brothers, Norman, George, Earldean and Bill Foust.
<B>LOWERS </B>— Friends of Evaline M. Lowers, who died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, will be received at the <B>Hile Funeral Home</B>, 802 Grove St., St. Petersburg, Clarion County, from 4 to 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will follow from the funeral home with the Rev. Korona Say, pastor of the Turkey City Church of God, officiating.
