GROVE CITY — The 89th annual M.D. Montgomery reunion will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Highland Pavilion in Grove City Memorial Park.

The Bicker family reunion slated for Saturday has been canceled. It has been rescheduled for Aug. 8, 2015.

YWCA Montessori opens doors

The Butler YWCA Montessori preschool program will hold an open house for returning and new students from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the school in the Monarch Building, 100 Brugh Ave.

Morning and afternoon class options include a four-day-a-week traditional Montessori program and a two- or three-day modified Montessori program.

Plant identifiers workshop slated

BUTLER TWP — Butler Township will have a plant identifiers workshop from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14 at Preston Park, 415 S. Eberhart Road.

The workshop, in cooperation with Penn State Extension, is open to all ages. Activities include a wildflower identification walk.

Peach festival slated for Aug. 15

SAXONBURG — The Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church Peach Festival will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at the church, 390 Frazier Road.

This year’s festival includes a pig roast.

Proceeds from the event will support the youth group.

Lifesteps offers family seminar

A Families Forever seminar will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at Lifesteps, 300 Stirling Village, Route 68.

Families Forever teaches parents how to minimize the negative effects on children involved in divorce and/or custody situations.
