An April 16 wedding is being planned by York residents Kristine Smitchko and Mark Langer.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Douglas and Melody Smitchko of Clarence. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Tom and Carol Langer of Valencia.

The bride-elect graduated in 1994 from Bald Eagle High School and in 1998 from Penn State University. She works for CNH America in New Holland.

Her fiancé graduated in 1995 from Mars High School and in 1999 from Penn State University. He works for McCormick and Co.
