Dana Hughes smacked a two-run triple in the top of the seventh inning and Jackie Mangola followed that later in the frame with a two-run double to key a dramatic comeback in Seneca Valley's 9-7 softball win over NorthHills Wednesday.

The Raiders (6-0, 4-0) entered the seventh trailing 6-4, but rallied for five runs to give Lauren Pennell the victory.

Nicole Lollo and MeganMcCormick each singled twice for Seneca Valley.

In other games:

• Autumn Barber doubled, singled and scored the only run for Mars (3-2, 2-2) in a 2-1 defeat to Hampton.

• Erica Thrower had three base hits, but Butler dropped an 8-2 decision at Fox Chapel.

Amanda Fisher was the winning pitcher and Chelsie Lynch added two doubles to lead Butler to a 13-8 victory over Fox Chapel Wednesday.Butler (3-1) sent 15 batters to the plate in the first inning and scored nine times.
