Lernerville season ended Saturday
BUFFALO TWP — The 2014 Lernerville Speedway dirt track racing season ended with the conclusion of the Steel City Stampede Saturday night.
There were 311 cars in the pits and infield for an event that included eight features and an Enduro.
Rod George of Kittanning beat out Sarver’s Carl Bowser for the Sprint feature win. Evans City’s Brandon Spithaler finished fourth.
Russell King of Bristol, Ohio, beat out Saxonburg’s Alex Ferree in the Late Model feature. Brian Swartzlander won the Modified Race, Chris Schneider the Sportsman feature.
Other race winners were Chad Ruhlman in the RUSH Late Models, Kyle Strickler in the UMP Modifieds, Greg Martin in the RUSH Sportsman Modifieds and Andrew Smith in the Four Cylinders.
Josh Frantz won the Enduro race.
