10:01 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Julie Kinney-Coggins, 43, of North Carolina and a minivan driven by Orvis Davis, 29, of Harrisville collided at the intersection of Route 8 and Cedar Road. Kinney-Coggins suffered a minor injury.9:53 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Bart Cavaliero, 22, of Butler and an SUV driven by a 17-year-old Grove City girl collided at the intersection of Route 8 and Filbert Road. A 15-year-old girl in the Grove City girl's car was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with neck and back pain. Cavaliero was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence, careless driving and possession of a small amount of marijuana.11:46 a.m. Wednesday — Wahanette M. Honse of Butler was charged with theft and receiving stolen property after she allegedly took $300 from a wallet a customer had placed on the counter at Lowe's in Moraine Pointe Plaza.State Police, Butler1:06 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Justin B. Smith, 19, of Petrolia crashed into a utility pole along Route 268 in Karns City. Smith, who was not wearing a seat belt, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence.9:44 p.m. Friday — A car driven by William Messenger, 57, of Holiday, Fla., struck a deer on Interstate 79 near Rowan Road in Cranberry Township. He and his passenger Margaret Messenger, 61, also of Holiday were wearing seat belts and were not injured.9:20 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Stephen D. Anthony, 46, of Chantilly, Va., collided with a deer on Interstate 79 near Route 228 in Cranberry Township. Anthony and passengers Draga Anthony, 44, and a 16-year-old boy, both of Chantilly were wearing seat belts and were not injured.4:55 a.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Robert C. Kane Jr., 29, of Parker and an SUV driven by Nancy L. Wagner, 50, of Parker collided at the intersection of Ludlow Avenue and Lincoln Avenue in Parker City. Parker fled but was later found at a nearby residence.
Midnight Friday — Someone stole copper pipe and lines worth about $100 from a camp on Kennerdell Road in Scrubgrass Township belonging to William C. Paraway of Freedom between midnight Thursday and midnight Friday.
