Wednesday — Several unlocked vehicles overnight were broken into while parked at the Villa Vista Estates trailer park on Browns Hill Road. Miscellaneous property was taken from the vehicles.7:10 p.m. Monday — Scott Muehlbronner, 43, was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 8.

12:45 a.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by Jeremy Flick, 51, of Pittsburgh hit a center cement barrier on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Flick was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Wednesday — Fishing equipment worth about $700 was stolen from a shed in a burglary between June 16 and Wednesday at Moraine Campground in Brady Township. Ronald Broglie of Finleyville, Washington County, owns the stolen property. The shed sustained about $1,000 in damage in the break-in.4:05 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Randy Grossman, 26, of Boyers struck a utility pole along Route 58 near Anderson Road in Venango Township. Grossman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to an unknown hospital for a moderate head injury. He was cited for several undisclosed traffic violations.1:20 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Anita Poplawski, 53, of Pittsburgh struck a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Poplawski, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with unknown injures to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.Tuesday — An unknown thief pried open two soda machines at the Forestville Beer Distributor on William Flinn Highway in Mercer Township, and made off with about $70 in currency and coins.9:30 p.m. Monday — Police are seeking the identity of a hit-and-run driver of a 1987 Honda sedan that struck a guardrail before running into a sport utility vehicle on Route 8 in Center Township.The unknown driver pulled into a nearby car wash in Butler Township and ran away. The car, owned by Merrie Blum of Butler, sustained severe damage. Donna Kookolis, 59, of Kittanning, was driving the SUV, which was also severely damaged.Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.4:40 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by Tyler Ray, 19, and Maryann Jones, 54, both of Butler collided on Dodds Road in Penn Township. Ray was cited for illegally entering or crossing a road.Monday — Michael Desanto, 22, of Mars was arrested for driving under the influence at Mars Crider and Franklin roads in Cranberry Township. In addition to DUI, Desanto is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.Sunday — A lion head, long-haired rabbit was stolen out of its cage at the Butler Fair Grounds in Prospect. The theft occurred between 1 and 9:30 a.m. Danielle Helch of Chicora owns the rabbit.Sunday — Robert Grubbs, 24, of Prospect was arrested and later charged for driving under the influence on East Butler Road in East Butler.

3:30 p.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Tamarra Duncan, 58, of Karns City struck an embankment and rolled over along Kaylor-Frogtown Road near Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County.

5:15 a.m. Monday — A motorcycle driven by Layne Lester Marburger, 37, of Slippery Rock was traveling north on Route 258 in Liberty Township when a deer ran into the road in front of the Harley Davidson. The motorcycle went down onto the road and slid about 360 feet before stoping in the southbound lane of the road. Marburger, who was wearing protective gear including a helmet, had minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Slippery Rock Ambulance. He was cited for an expired inspection sticker.10:43 a.m. Friday — Cars driven by Drew Smith, 31, and Irene Bain, 75, both of Grove City, collided on Route 58 at the Wal-Mart in Pine Township, Mercer County. Smith was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.
