7:05 p.m. Friday — Lee A. McKain, 30, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after collapsing at a residence at 406 Third Street.6:08 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Kenneth Myers, 71, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Evelyn Milliron, 77, of Butler collided on West New Castle Road. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.2:30 p.m. Friday — An unknown vehicle struck a vehicle owned by Amy Bodema of Butler while it was parked on Third Avenue.1:15 a.m. Friday — Evan D. Young, 22, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence — incapable of safe driving, driving under the influence — high rate of alcohol and careless driving after his vehicle sideswiped two parked vehicles owned by Alan Shettel of Cowansville and Rebecca Plymate of Butler on North McKean Street.12:45 a.m. Friday — Henry August Troese III, 19, of Clarion was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at the intersection of Main and Diamond streets.Friday — Robert W. Reiser, 43, of Saxonburg was cited for allegedly writing five bad checks to the Honey Bear store on East Jefferson Street between Sept. 15 and 21.12:41 a.m. Thursday — Daniel P. Jordan, 23, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence, disorderly conduct, possession of a small amount of marijuana and accident involving damage to property after his vehicle struck a building at 109 Fairview Avenue.2:44 a.m. Dec. 3 — Charles M. Merten, 22, of Saxonburg was charged with simple assault and criminal mischief after allegedly attacking Paul E. Blackwell Jr., 26, at his 429 W. Penn St. residence and causing $300 worth of interior damage. Merten allegedly assaulted Blackwell, punching him several times in the face before punching a hole in the wall and breaking multiple windows. Following the incident, Blackwell was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment.
