Golden Knights edge Clarion-Limestone

Kyle Hilliard improved his record to 6-2, striking out seven in seven strong inning as Union downed Clarion-Limestone 7-6 in high action Friday.

Derek Carmichael, Jeremy Craig and Hilliard all homered for the Golden Knights (10-6, 8-6).

In other action:

Derek Maybee drove in five runs as Grove City routed Kennedy Catholic 19-3 in five innings.

The Eagles open the postseason May 21 against a team and at a site to be determined.
