Crawford

Patricia M. Crawford, 79, of Butler died Wednesday afternoon at Sunnyview Home.

Born June 4, 1928, in Butler, she was a daughter of Harry and Marie (Hildebrand) Parker.

She was a homemaker, and had been a cashier at the A&P store in Butler.

Mrs. Crawford was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church; the Catholic Daughters of America, where she was a past grand regent; the Women of the Moose, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are two sons, Gerald F. "Jud" Crawford Jr. of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Robert H. Crawford of Leander, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. Joe (Linda M.) Morter of Butler, Mrs. Ray (Kathy A.) Eichner of Renfrew, Mrs. Jack (Mary Lou) Ratica of Butler, Mrs. Gary (Sandy J.) Brown of Elgin, S.C., and Mrs. Dan (Lisa L.) Rider of Lugoff, S.C.; 16 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, H. Richard Parker of Butler, and William Parker of Cerritos, Calif.; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Her husband, Gerald F. "Jud" Crawford Sr., whom she married Aug. 13, 1949, died Oct. 16, 2004. A brother also preceded her in death.

Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St. The Rev. Pierre Falkenhan will officiate. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, North Oakland.A Catholic Daughters of America rosary will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.The Women's Council of St. Peter will meet recite the rosary at 9:10 a.m. Saturday at the church.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
