EMLENTON — A Parker man died when he was electrocuted while doing roof work at a Walnut Street building Thursday.

Clarion County Coroner Terry Shaffer said Charles Rupp, 33, was killed and another man was shocked when their ladder touched power lines.

Shaffer said the other man, whose name was unavailable, was injured.

Rupp was taken from the scene to Clarion Hospital, so Shaffer was called at 12:50 p.m. to make the pronouncement.

Shaffer said the cause of death, which was ruled accidental, was electrocution.
