The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has provided this report on the Dec. 22 Eighty Four livestock auction.

Cattle 70 — (Compared with last week's sale, slaughter cows sold 2.50-3. higher on light supply.)

Cows — Breakers 75-80 percent lean, 50.50-54.50; boners, 80-85 percent lean, 45.-48.; lean, 85-90 percent lean, 39.50-44. Shells, 39. and down.

Feeder cattle — Steers — Large 3, 720-838 lbs., 52.50-54. Heifers — Few, medium and large 2, 515-760 lbs., 61.-64. Bulls — Few, medium and large 2, 525-670 lbs., 61.-70.

CALVES 63 — (Holstein bulls sold 7.50 higher.)

Vealers — Standard and good, 90-115 lbs., 25.-65.; utility, 75-105 lbs., 8.-20.

Farm calves — No. 1, Holstein bulls, 95-125 lbs., 92.50-107.50; No. 2, 90-120 lbs., 70.-90. One, No. 2, Holstein heifer, 95 lbs., 125.
