Registration for the Sixth Annual Riding for the Cure event will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Rock Ann Haven, 141 Greenwood Drive.

Lynda Kerr, the president of the event said it raises money for the Butler County Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Richard Laube Fund in Kittanning.

The 100-mile course ends at Longhorn Corral, 930 New Castle Road, where there will be auctions, live music and a pig roast.

Kerr said last year’s ride raised $49,000 and in the event’s five years $129,000 had been raised for cancer care.
