Harmony site of Jazz FestHARMONY — Harmony Jazz Fest 2016 will be Aug. 26, 27 and 28 at a different venue in the borough each day.On Aug. 26, “Mr. Trombone” Harold Betters will perform at 7 p.m. in Stewart Hall at the Harmony Museum. Impromptu Jazz will be from 5 to 7 p.m. and after 9 p.m. Aug. 26.Funk and fusion with the Ben Barson Band is planned for Aug. 27 upstairs in the Harmony Opera House. Youth chorus starts rehearsalGROVE CITY — The Pittsburgh Youth Chorus’ new satellite youth choir program will rehearse weekly from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning Sept. 14. Rehearsals will be in the Pew Fine Arts Building at Grove City College.Although the preseason auditions have passed, interested singers may attend open rehearsals on Sept. 14 and 21.
