3:08 p.m. Tuesday - A teenager was injured in a three-vehicle, chain-reaction crash on West Cunningham Street.The crash occurred just off Pillow Street when a pickup truck driven by Matthew Burns, 46, of Kennerdell, Venango County, struck the rear of a car driven by Taylor McLaughlin, 17, of Butler Township. The collision forced the car into the rear of a pickup driven by Eric Miner, 34, of Connoquenessing.McLaughlin, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Burns was cited for a traffic signal violation.
Two drivers were injured in a head-on crash about 7 a.m. Tuesday at Route 19 and Little Creek Road.William Bowser, 34, of Benbrook Road, who was driving a truck, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital. The other driver, Miranda Berner, 33, of Zelienople, was treated at UPMC-Cranberry. The driver's conditions were not known this morning.Bowser was cited for making an illegal turn.
5:50 a.m. Wednesday - A motorcycle driven by Brian Kobert, 26, of Butler struck a deer on Route 8 near Larchwood Drive in Penn Township. Kobert, who was wearing a helmet, suffered minor injuries.Wednesday - Two men, who police did not identify, are suspected of breaking into several storage units at Stow-N-Go on Stanford Road in Muddy Creek Township. Police declined to say what property was taken. The theft occurred between late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.1:50 p.m. Tuesday - A pickup truck driven by David Hinderliter, 31, of Petrolia crashed into a ditch along Old Brick Road near Route 38 in Washington Township. Hinderliter, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for a head injury at Butler Memorial Hospital. His condition was not known this morning.Monday - A Clarion County man was arrested for breaking-into an Eau Claire home early Saturday morning and taking $50 as well as checks and a sweatshirt.Ryan Neely, 20, of St. Petersburg is charged with burglary and theft in the break-in at the North Main Street home of Natasha Carr. Neely remains in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.Monday - An inflatable pumpkin decoration was stolen between 10 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday from the Grove City Road home of Betty Kyle in Mercer Township.4:30 a.m. Saturday - A car driven by Jonathan Duddy, 19, of Freedom, Beaver County, skidded off Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township and rolled onto its roof. Police said Duddy then fled the crash site in another vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.Oct. 11 - A 2004 Polaris all-terrain vehicle was taken Oct. 10 or 11 from the West Liberty Rock Road home of David Saeler in Chicora. Police found the ATV in a creek a short distance from the house.
10:20 p.m. Saturday - A pickup truck driven by Brian Higgins, 37, of Glen Campbell, Indiana County, struck a deer on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.
