The museum hosts Dharma meditation the second and third Thursdays of the month, and a book club the last Thursday of each month. A Japanese film series is upcoming. PITTSBURGHChildren’s Museum, 10 Children’s Way, Allegheny Square, has opened the baseball-themed exhibit “Big League Fun,” running through May 10, as well as the 13th annual “Tough Art” exhibition. The Children’s Museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except holidays. Admission varies by the day, but ranges from $13 to $16. Children younger than 2 are admitted free. The History Center’s museum system includes the Sports Museum; the Fort Pitt Museum in historic Point State Park; and Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village, a National Historic Landmark located in Avella in Washington County.
