The Rev. John C.R. Silbert leads the Sunday worship service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St. The service includes the Sacrament of Baptism and the noisy offering of loose change.

EAST BUTLER PRESBYTERIAN

East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, has a potluck meal at 5 p.m. Sunday. Take a side dish or dessert to share. There is a congregational meeting after the meal.

FAITH UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The Rev. Jim Swanson of Ellwood City is the guest speaker at the Sunday worship service at Faith United Presbyterian Church, 1329 N. Main Ext. The guest pianist is Bev Weston of Valencia.

FIRST BAPTIST

Women’s missionary fellowship meets from 10 a.m. to noon today at the First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St.

In addition to a Sunday morning worship service, there is a Gideons presentation before a 6 p.m. worship service Sunday.

The deaf cafe is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Take a lunch. The gathering includes fellowship, a devotional and a guest speaker.

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., has one 10 a.m. Sunday worship service followed by the annual congregational meeting.

GRACE @ CALVARY

Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., is open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The Rev. Tara Lynn leads a morning gathering, “Inquiring Minds,” from 9 to 9:45 a.m. every fourth Sunday of the month in the room across from Grace’s Closet. The group discusses faith, religion and spirituality.

NORTH MAIN STREET CHURCH OF GOD

The youths of North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., serve dinner to the children of Fishbone Ministries, 200 Faith Way, at 5 p.m. today.

The 12th Annual Winter Blast for seventh- to 12th-graders is Feb. 2 to 4 at Whitehall Campground and Conference Center near Emlenton.

The next infant/child dedication is Feb. 4.

ORCHARD HILL BUTLER COUNTY

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

There is a spaghetti dinner Feb. 10 at Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars. To donate supplies or help with the event, sign up in the church lobby. The dinner benefits the church youth group and the American Heart Association.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., celebrates the Lord’s Supper during the Sunday worship service. The annual congregational meeting follows worship.

There is only one service this weekend at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township. Sunday school is at 9 a.m. and the worship service is at 10 a.m. The annual congregational meeting and a potluck luncheon follows the service.

The monthly women’s Bible study is at 10 a.m. Feb. 1.
