BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will have special music Sunday by Vonda Mishler.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will have a hymn sing during the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service. The hymns were selected by vote of congregation members.

The noisy offering of loose change will be received during the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

Reprints of sermons preached by Pastor John on May 20, May 27, and June 10 are available in the narthex and the Assembly Room.

ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH

English Lutheran Church, 200 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, has a 9 a.m. Sunday worship service and Sunday school at 10:15 a.m.

FAITHUNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The AA group meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Faith United Presbyterian Church, 1329 N. Main Ext.,

Weight Watchers meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. June 28 and 8:30 a.m. June 30.

FIRST BAPTIST

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., has 9:45 a.m. Sunday school classes followed by an 11 a.m. Sunday worship service.

Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Worth Township, has an open house at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Deaf Café will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday. Take a lunch. There will be fellowship, a devotional and a guest speaker.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will have a “Community of Gifts” assessment in a small group discussion workshop after the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

Vacation Bible school is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., from 5 to 7 tonight and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. No proof of income is required. Clothing can be donated while the clothing bank is open or during office hours, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday

A fourth Sunday gathering called “Inquiring Minds” will meet from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Sunday to discuss topics of faith, religion and spirituality in the room across from Grace’s Closet.

Sunday the children of GLOW will make ice cream sundaes and play board games in an all-ages, everyone-is-welcome time of fun and fellowship. Take a favorite sundae topping and meet in the social hall following worship.

Pastor Tara and the youths will leave for Houston Tuesday for the National Youth Gathering.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Pat Hovis provides the music at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

HARRISVILLE UNITED METHODIST

Harrisville United Methodist Church, 301 S. Main St., Harrisville, will have a Blessing of the Bikes at its 10 a.m. Sunday worship service. A picnic lunch will follow the service.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Interim pastor the Rev. William Jackson will deliver the message at Sunday worship service at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St. Fellowship hour will follow.

The youth mission trip will be Sunday through Friday at Camp Crestfield.

Pew Tender volunteers are needed throughout the summer. Sign-up sheet is in the church office.

INTERSECTION CHURCH

Intersection Church, 120 Walker Ave., has canceled the Sunday night community meal until September.

Grief share meets from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

NEW ZION EVANGELICAL

New Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, 1195 Airport Road, Emlenton, will launch a new men’s ministry at 8 a.m. Saturday. Breakfast will be included. For more information, call 724-750-0010.

ORCHARD HILL BUTLER COUNTY

Orchard Hill Butler County worships at Penn Christian Academy, 199 W. Airport Road, Penn Township.

There will be a Ladies Night starting at 5 p.m. June 28 with dinner at Lori Randall’s house in East Butler followed by music from a Neil Diamond and Johnny Cash impersonator at 6 p.m. Take a side dish or dessert to share.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

Youth mission trip teens will share their experiences at the 8:15 and 10 a.m. Sunday services at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

The Sewing Ministry meets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday in the Fellowship Hall.

The sanctuary will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday for community quiet/prayer time.

The church council meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

Amy Schifrin, president of the North American Lutheran Seminary, preaches at 6 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St.

It’s not too late to register for “Lutheran Lay Renewal” which takes place at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in Fellowship Hall.

The American Red Cross blood drive will be from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Fellowship Hall.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will have its 10 a.m. Sunday worship service at the Holly Shelter at Alameda Park.
