Butler Township Police4:48 p.m. May 31 — Robert C. Snyder, 65, of Butler was charged with DUI following a crash in the parking lot of Giant Eagle in Moraine Pointe Plaza.

State Police, Butler5:40 a.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by Patricia M. Yaklich, 51, of Slippery Rock crashed and rolled onto its roof on West Sunbury Road in Center Township. Yaklich suffered unknown injuries and was cited for driving at unsafe speed.11 p.m. Wednesday — A hit-and-run vehicle struck a home owned by Ruth M. Cypher, 87, at the intersection of Fisher and Freeport roads in Jefferson Township, causing major damage to the home’s foundation and interior, but not harming Cypher. It then left on Great Belt Road. The vehicle is described as a gray vehicle with heavy front-end damage. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.12:37 p.m. Wednesday — A truck driven by Chad D. Beachem, 30, of Butler and a car driven by Elaine D. Homison, 67, of Zelienople collided at the intersection of Watters Station and Brownsmill roads in Forward Township. An 8-year-old passenger in Homison’s car suffered a minor injury.1:01 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Sarah M. Bogan, 23, of Butler struck a large rock at the intersection of Centreville Pike and Harmony Road, disabling the vehicle.12:45 p.m. June 1 — A car driven by Christopher R. Chute, 26, of Butler and a car driven by Zachary T. Rovito, 18, of Butler collided at the intersection of North Main Street and Glenwood Way in Center Township. Rovito, Chute and a passenger in Chute’s car, 24-year-old Ann Bowser of Butler, each suffered moderate injuries. A young girl in Chute’s car, not identified by police, suffered unknown injuries. Chute was cited for failure to obey traffic control signals.4:10 p.m. May 31 — A van driven by Tiffany A. Crowe, 30, of Saxonburg crashed into a tree along Stark Road near Hidden Hill Road in Clinton Township. Crowe suffered a minor injury and was cited for driving at unsafe speed.12:01 p.m. May 24 — Someone entered a residence on Rider Church Road in Center Township and stole multiple rings belonging to Linda Bowman of Center Township.

State Police, ClarionSaturday — Several fishing rods and tackle were found in a roadside ditch on Route 258 just north of Brent Road in Liberty Township. The owner can claim the property by calling police at 724-662-6162.
