Man hurt when cycle falls on him
FAIRVIEW — A medical helicopter flew a 67-year-old man to a Pittsburgh hospital after he was injured Sunday afternoon when a motorcycle fell on him at his home on South Fairview Main Street, authorities said.
The accident at about 2:25 p.m. reportedly rendered the man unconscious. His name was not released.
A family member found him and called 911. The man had regained consciousness by the time emergency crews arrived.
A Chicora Ambulance crew tended to the man before they drove him to the Donny Deal Memorial Field on South Washington Street where a helicopter landed. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian, according to the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department, which assisted.
His condition Monday was not known.
State police were not called to the scene.
