Kerr

Edward L. Kerr, 60, of Butler died Wednesday at UPMC Cranberry Place, Cranberry Township.

Born Dec. 24, 1946, in Henderson, he was the son of the late Blair and Inez Kerr.

He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Evans City.

Mr. Kerr retired as plant superintendent for I.A. Construction after 39 years.

He was an Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War.

He was an avid Steeler and NASCAR fan and enjoyed playing cards and slot machines. He also enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving are his wife, Carol E. Reinhart Kerr; four sons, Dan Kerr of Punxsutawney, Tom Manuel and his wife, Sue, of West Sunbury, Tim Manuel and his wife, Amy, of Renfrew and Todd Manuel of New Castle; three daughters, Cheryl Morris and her husband, Chuck, of Butler, Cindy Gruca and her husband, Rick, of Georgia, and Tammy Gianvito and her husband, Gregg, of Pittsburgh; four brothers, Ted and Jim Kerr, both of Punxsutawney, Dale Kerr of Big Run, and Dave Kerr of DuBois; two sisters, Ann Piefer of Reynoldsville and Kathy Bowser of DuBois; and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Reinhart of Zelienople.

Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Curt Kerr.

<B>KERR </B>— Friends of Edward L. Kerr, who died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City, with the Rev. David Saylor officiating.
