Sunday’s service schedule at First Baptist Church begins at 9:45 a.m. with Sunday school classes, followed by an 11 a.m. worship service, then lunch and a 1:15 p.m. worship service.

The church will have a Valentine social for grades 1-6 from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.

First English Lutheran Church has 9:15 a.m. Sunday school followed by a 10 a.m. worship service. It will be followed by a family outing event for families and their children with lunch at the church then bowling at Sherwood Lanes.

The finance committee meets at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., celebrates Holy Communion at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

Members of Grace @ Calvary will lead worship at LIFE Butler County, 231 W. Diamond St., with the adult day program participants at 11 a.m. Monday and Tuesday. Those wanting to attend should meet by 10:40 a.m. at the church.

The Evans City Food Bank is collecting soap and toothpaste in February.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The youth of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church will have soup pots in the narthex for the Souper Bowl of Caring Offering Sunday. Donations will benefit the Kids Weekend Backpack Program.

The youth group is hosting the soup luncheon in the Memorial Room after worship. There will be a variety of soups and salad. Everyone is asked to take a dessert to share. Donations received at the luncheon will help support the fight against hunger in Butler.

ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN

St. John’s Lutheran Church in Connoquenessing celebrates Holy Communion during the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service.

Sign up for the Feb. 23 tureen luncheon and annual congregation meeting.

The Sewing Circle of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Saxonburg Sewing Ministry meets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the Fellowship Hall.

Holy Communion will be shared at both 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship services. There will be a doughnut fellowship in the cafe after each service.

Sunday is the last day for Souper Bowl donations. Soup, pasta, sauce, canned fruit, cereal, paper products and juice are needed.

Food bank volunteers will meet at 6 p.m. Monday to pack food.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church celebrates Holy Communion at its 5 p.m. Saturday worship service.

It will have 8 and 10:15 a.m. Sunday worship services, as well as 9 a.m. Sunday school.

The children’s hour preschool program will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The 2 p.m. Thursday “Afternoon at the Movies” film is “Queen Esther.”
