There is a good chance that someone in Butler County is $300,000 richer this week than last week.

That is because a $600,000 Cash 5 jackpot from the Monday drawing was split by two winning tickets, one each in Butler and Clearfield counties.

The Butler ticket was sold at 3 B’s Tobacco, 118 Point Plaza, Butler Township.

The other ticket was sold at a Giant Eagle in DuBois.

Each ticket matched all five balls, 03-07-12-32-42, to each win $300,000, minus 25 percent federal withholding.

The prizes must be claimed and the tickets validated before the winners can be identified.

Cash 5 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

Nearly 52,000 other Cash 5 tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing.
