SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Michael Corey, 38, of Burgettstown, Washington County, waived to court charges of burglary, and three counts each of theft and receiving stolen property, filed July 20 by state police.

Levi Gates, 21, of Lyndora was held for court on charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana, filed Dec. 19 by the Butler County Drug Task Force.

Aaron Kittle, 21, of Randloph, W.Va., waived to court charges of driving under the influence and disobeying traffic control devices, filed June 28 by Buffalo Township police.

Jamie Mellish, 28, of East Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of false identification to law enforcement authorities, filed July 20 by Middlesex Township police. Mellish was ordered to pay $441.50 in fines and court costs.

Matthew Solomon, 42, of Springdale, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property, forgery, theft from a vehicle, criminal mischief, tampering with records, defiant trespass and access device fraud, filed April 26 by Buffalo Township police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Robert Birckbichler, 42, of Karns City was held for court on charges of simple assault and harassment, filed April 28.Josey Broadbent, 18, of Evans City waived to court charges of theft, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed July 22.George Early, 39, of Hilliards pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted theft, filed June 9. Early was ordered to pay $196.50 fines and court costs.Matthew Fazzino, 39, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted theft, filed June 9. Fazzino was ordered to pay $196.50 in fines and court costs.Mark Hilty, 44, of Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks, filed Oct. 10. Hilty was ordered to pay $500 in restitution, fines and court costs.Joshua Hinchberger, 30, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, harassment and reckless driving, filed May 5.Maria McCabe, 44, of Karns City waived to court charges of burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, filed July 21.Brenda Lee Stewart, 45, of Lyndora pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted theft, filed June 9. Stewart was ordered to pay $196.50 in fines and court costs.Athena Tompai, 18, of Renfrew waived to court charges of theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed July 22.
