U.S. Army National Guard Pvt. Kyle Sayre graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

Sayre is a 2010 graduate of Culpeper County High School, Virginia, and is the son of Karey and Kimberly Sayre of Butler.

U.S. Air Force Airman Jacob Pfaff graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio.

The 2012 graduate of North Hills High School is the son of Laurie Pfaff of Pittsburgh and grandson of Linda Hynes of Portersville.

U.S. Air Force’s Christopher Noullet was commissioned as a second lieutenant.

He graduated from Butler High School in 1999 and from Valley Forge Christian College in 2003. He is completing his Doctorate of Psychology at Loyola University Maryland.

Noullet was recently awarded the health professions scholarship from the Air Force.

He resides in Elkridge, Md., with his wife, Lauren, and daughter, Adelyn, 2.

He is the son of the Rev. Steve and Cathy Noullet of Butler.
