7:51 p.m. Friday - Shane Baker-Whipkey, 23, of Butler was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop in which he was the passenger.5:35 p.m. Tuesday - A vehicle driven by Colleen McCabe, 44, of 126 W. Penn St., Apt. A, struck a vehicle driven by Anthony Grossi, 34, of 219 5th St. as Grossi sat at a traffic light on East Penn Street. According to the police report, McCabe left the scene immediately after the accident.7:40 p.m. June 12 - William Losser, 22, of 208 Spang Ave. was arrested and charged with a domestic violence assault. He was arraigned by District Justice Sue Haggerty and is in Butler County Prison on in lieu of $5,000 bond.
2 p.m. Friday - Someone pried open a Coca-Cola machine at the Stoughton Acres Golf Course in Center Township and stole $20 in coins. Damage to the machine was estimated at $250.1 p.m. Friday - Eric Grossman, 36, of Slippery Rock was charged with indecent exposure and open lewdness following an incident on Sanderson Drive in Slippery Rock Township.7:45 p.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by Kristiana Johns, no age given, of Meadville and Brent Carrier, no age given, of Corpus Christi, Texas, collided on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and neither one was injured.7:15 p.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by John Williams, 24, of Butler and Allan Demko, no age given, of Boyers collided head-on on Mahood Road in Clay Township after Williams' Ford Ranger crossed the centerline.5:50 p.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by Stan Gruver Jr., 44, of Butler and Carolyn Haffly, 53, of Emlenton collided on Route 8 in Center Township. Gruver was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital where he was treated for a minor injury and released.3:45 p.m. Thursday - Jessica Clougherty, no age given, of Ellwood City told police her pickup truck was struck by a Hispanic male between the ages of 40 and 45 driving a red truck with a dump bed. Clougherty said her vehicle was struck as she waited to exit Interstate 79 at the Cranberry Township exit ramp.Noon Thursday - Someone stole a green glass gazing ball from the front lawn of Marjorie Pifer, 58, and James Pifer, 63, of Prospect. The ball had an estimated value of $50.8 a.m. Tuesday - Someone broke a window valued at $50 in an Army recruiting vehicle in the parking lot of Clearview Mall in Center Township.8:45 p.m. June 11 - Shad Bailey, 26, of 310 Walker Ave. lost control of his vehicle on Saxonburg Road in Summit Township. Bailey fled the scene on foot after the vehicle flipped onto its roof.1:38 p.m. May 3 - Randy Welling, 37, of Butler has been charged with theft, receiving stolen property, access device fraud and criminal conspiracy after he stole a Wal-Mart gift card from the mailbox of Sherri Geibel, 41, of Butler.According to the police report Welling, a delivery driver for the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, and Raymond Welling, 32, also of Butler removed the gift card from Geibel's mailbox as they made their rounds. They then used the card to make purchases at the Butler Wal-Mart on four separate occasions.Raymond Welling is charged with criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property and access fraud.
9:20 p.m. Wednesday - Paul Hagelthorn, 50, of Natrona Heights was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township.
9:15 p.m. Monday - Michael Todd Foringer, 32, of New Bethlehem was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after he lost control of his vehicle on Stonehouse Road in Clarion Township.According to the police report, Foringer lost control on a curve, spun across the centerline and struck a tree.
2:10 a.m. Friday - Tanya Redfoot, 31, of Utica, N.Y., was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 62 in Sandy Lake Township.Tuesday - Pamela Jones, 35, of Mercer told police someone tried to open several bank accounts using her personal information.
