9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 15, Passavant Retirement Community, 401 S. Main St., Zelienople

5:30 to 9:30 p.m. May 16, Kelly Chevrolet, 252 Pittsburgh Road

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 18, Butler YMCA, 339 N. Washington St.

Seniors completing the course will receive a 5 percent reduction in their automobile insurance premiums for three years.

[naviga:h2]Heart Ball theme Kentucky Derby[/naviga:h2]

CRANBERRY TWP ——The American Heart Association will host the Beaver Butler Counties Heart Ball at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Pittsburgh Marriott North, 100 Cranberry Woods Drive.

Cocktails and a silent auction will be followed by a live auction, survivors’ stories and entertainment by The Protege. KDKA TV sports anchor Bob Pompeani and his daughter, Celina Pompeani of PensTV, will emcee.

The evening’s theme will be the Kentucky Derby, with Derby style attire encouraged.

The Heart Ball is the American Heart Association’s most prestigious fundraising event. Its proceeds support cardiovascular and stroke research, education and advocacy.

St. Anthony plans rummage sale

St. Anthony Antiochia Orthodox Church, 400 S. Sixth Ave., will have a rummage and cookie sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 20.

MARS — The Mars Public Library, 107 Grand Ave., will have a free food and fun day for all ages from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 20.

Among the events scheduled are:

11 a.m. to noon, Story Time, presented by the 2017 Pennsylvania Fair Queen and Butler Fair Princess

Noon to 3 p.m.: Petting zoo with miniature goats, a llama, a horse and more

1:30 to 2:30 p.m.: Potting Perennials, for all ages, presented by Jill Barger of the Butler County Master Gardeners

Noon to 1 p.m.: Crochet and knitting presented by Mars FiberKnots

Noon to 1:30 p.m.: Live acoustic music by Laurel Colonello and Victoria Susan.
