Edna Marie Delaney, 84, passed away at 4:40 p.m. Saturday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler.

Mrs. Delaney was born to Kenneth Dale Conner and Lillian Nelly Conner on March 17, 1926, in Phillipston. They are deceased.

Edna was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith.

Mrs. Delaney is preceded in death by her husband, Evan B. “Bud” Delaney, who passed away July 1, 1999. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Shakely, and a grandson.

Edna is survived by one son, Gary Delaney of Butler; two daughters, Patty Divins of Sligo and Luann Smith of Butler; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Carole Whitmer of East Butler; five nieces; and one nephew.

Delaney, who died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, will be received at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 East North St., Butler, Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service. Pastor Michael Charles, of Portersville Bible Church, will officiate.
