BETHEL PRESBYTERIAN

The Sunday evening Bible study will resume at 7 p.m. April 18 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Route 8 and Route 108, Slippery Rock. The Wednesday morning Bible study will resume at 8 a.m. April 14.

No youth group on Easter Sunday.

CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.

Hoagie order will be taken through Sunday at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road.

Sign-ups are being accepted for the church softball team.

The church will collect personal care items for the next two months for UMCOR emergency health kits. Toothbrushes in their original sealed packages are being requested for Saturday and Sunday.

The food cupboard is requesting spaghetti and spaghetti sauce during April.

Youth planning to attend the Acquire the Fire weekend, April 30 to May 1, should have reservations and funds to Cherie Loomis by Sunday.

CHRIST'S OUTREACH CENTER

Christ's Outreach Center, 120 Walker Ave., will hold a congregational spring luncheon at noon April 18. Cost is a donation and sign-up is at the church office.

LINKS missionaries for 2002-2004 will be visiting April 18.

CONCORD PRESBY & NORTH WASHINGTON PRESBY

Concord Presbyterian Church, 625 Hooker Road, West Sunbury, and North Washington Presbyterian Church, 714 Fairview Road, North Washington, will host the annual Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of the Concord Church. Children through grade six can hunt for eggs and prizes.

COVENANT PRESBY

The shirt-painting class at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will meet at 5:30 Tuesday in Fellowship Hall.

FAITH FELLOWSHIP

The Women's Bible Study Group will begin a study of the Book of Revelation using Life Lessons with Max Lucado at 10 a.m. April 15 at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive. Call the church to reserve a copy of the study guide.

FIRST BAPTIST

George and Betty Myers of Columbus, Ohio, retired Baptist Church Planters missionaries, will share their ministry at 7 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St.

The Ladies Missionary Fellowship of Association of Independent Baptist Churches of Western Pennsylvania will hold its annual spring meeting from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, 103 Cranberry Road, Grove City.

GLADE RUN U.P.

The church offices of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will be closed Good Friday.

The church youth will paint the youth room at 10 a.m. Thursday.

HILL U.P.

There will be no Sunday school on Easter morning at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St. Instead, a breakfast is slated for 9:15 a.m., followed by the 10:30 a.m. service with special music from the children and adult choirs. Regular classes will resume on April 18.

Treasure Club, a new program for children ages 3 through grade 4, will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday. Children will participate in crafts and Bible stories. Contact Kathy Sawyer for information.

Senior Night Out will be held on Tuesday. Reservations can be called into the church office.

Volunteers are needed to operate the soundboard during Sunday services and as van drivers for Saturday services.

MT. CHESTNUT PRESBY

Mt. Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 Old West 422, will host an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, along with singing and the Easter story in the worship center. Refreshments will be available.

NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES

Son-LIFE of New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch School auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg, will meet at 9:15 a.m. Easter Sunday at Knoch School.

Registration forms for Class 101 - A Journey to Discipleship are available in the Lifeline bulletins. The seminar will be held at 12:30 p.m. April 25 at The Bridge, 102 Bay St., Penn Township. Lunch will be served and child care will be provided.

SLIPPERY ROCK U.M.

A women's Bible study, "What is God Like," is starting on April 12 in the parlor at Slippery Rock United Methodist, Franklin and Maple streets.

The gardening small group will meet on Fridays at Jan and Sumner Forrest's home on Main Street. Tickets for Women of Faith Conference are available from Sandy Wakefield.

The speaker for the "Praise Cafe" on Friday is Mike Wick.

The choir will present the cantata, "Jesus Shall Reign," featuring soloists Terry Dambaugh, Fred Doerr, Julie Burris, Jon Rinehimer and Tracy Hust during the 11 a.m. Easter service.

A Seder meal will be served Thursday, followed by communion.

Members should take items for the Feed My Sheep Food Cupboard.

ST. PETER'S EPISCOPAL

Grounds cleanup of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 218 E. Jefferson St., will meet from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday on the front lawn.

There will be no faith formation classes at St. Richard Roman Catholic Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, next week.

Baptism preparation classes will be at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

First Communion rehearsal will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday. A family retreat for children making their first Communion will be held at noon Mass on April 18.

TRINITY PRESBY

The youth group will hold a car wash from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 107 Staley Ave. Donations will support the youth attending church camp this summer.

The One Great Hour offering will conclude on Sunday.

Easter Sunday breakfast will be served at 9:15 a.m. hosted by the Trinity Fellowship group in Fellowship Hall. A children's Easter egg hunt will follow at 9:45 a.m.
