The following Good Friday breakfasts are set for April 9:

The Butler YMCA

Good Friday Breakfast will feature the Rev. H. Curtis McDaniel, senior pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, at the 54th annual YMCA Good Friday fellowship breakfast set for 7 a.m. at the YMCA, 330 N. Washington St.

McDaniel served as chief of staff of the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., before coming to Butler.

He will present, "Its Friday but Sunday Is Coming."

Kay Wharton

will provide the music.

Cost is $4 a person. Tickets may be purchased at the YMCA desk.

Meridian United Presbyterian Church

will feature Ken Metrick's musical program at 6:30 a.m., 4150 Highland Ave. Cost is $3. Tickets are available at the church office. Reservations are due by April 7. For information, call the church at 724-482-2630.

North Main Street Church of God

will host a women's breakfast at 7 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall at the church, 1201 N. Main St. Ext.

The Rev. Debra Cypher will present, "Living PASSIONately."

Tickets are $4 and can be purchased at the church office.

Evans City Fire Hall

will host a men's breakfast at 7 a.m. at the fire hall, 124 N. Jackson St.

The speaker will be the Rev. Ritzert of St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church.

Tickets are $5 and are available at LAW Clothing and Evans City Auto Parts.

Nixon United Methodist Church

will host the Rev. Glenn Kohlhepp, Butler district superintendent at 7:30 a.m. in the social hall of the church, 334 Airport Road.

Cost is $3.50. Reservations are due Monday and can be made by calling 724-352-9563 or 724-586-9439.
