Thursday — Police reported that Robert Matson, 53, of Butler Township is accused of making threats against a pair of 14-year-olds during an altercation Sept. 21 on Alhambra Drive. Matson faces charges of terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.State Police, Butler1:48 a.m. Wednesday — Michael Six, 21, of Petrolia faces a number of traffic citations after the speeding car he was driving struck a wall on the south gate of Indspec on Route 268 in Petrolia. Police said Six fled the scene after the crash.Police said Six faces charges of racing on highways, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving, reckless driving, accidents involving damage to unattended property, a lane violation and driving without an inspection sticker.7:50 a.m. Thursday — Cars driven by John Buck, 44, of Kittanning and Jeanne Frazier, 57, of Butler collided on Route 68 and Shannon Road in Connoquenessing Township. The collision spun Frazier's vehicle into a car driven by Stephen McCullough, 31, of Cranberry Township.2:30 a.m. Thursday — Lori Jean Douthitt, 46, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting Robert Gale Campbell, 52, of Butler during a domestic dispute at a Holyoke Road home in Center Township.Douthitt was arraigned on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment and placed in Butler County Prison on $1,000 bond.Thursday — Jewelry and coins valued at $4,825 were reported stolen in a burglary between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Portman Road home of John Snyder in Summit Township. Police said the unknown burglary broke a basement window to get inside the house.7:25 p.m. Wednesday — Someone stole undisclosed items from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot of Ponderosa Restaurant at Clearview Mall, Center Township. Mandy Jean Libecco of Parker owns the stolen property.

3:34 p.m. Thursday — Acar driven by Edwin Paradise III, 34, of Grove City crashed and flipped on its roof on East Gilmore Road in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County.12:43 a.m. Wednesday — AButler County man was injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car at Route 58 and George Junior Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.Joseph Kerr, 37, of SlipperyRock, who was wearing a helmet, was taken with minor injuries to Grove City Medical Center.Police said the crash occurred when a 1992 Chevrolet Beretta driven by Vaughn Shumaker, 26, of Grove City turned in front of the motorcycle, which struck the car's rear passenger side. Vaughn was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.
