11:53 p.m. Wednesday - Adam Williams, 23, of 27 Jarrett Ave., Butler Township, was arrested for driving under the influence after his car struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle at Main and Penn streets. Williams was also cited for careless driving. James Allison, 54, of Grove City was driving the SUV.1:43 p.m. Wednesday - A pickup truck driven by Jessica Hilliard, 18, of Franklin Township and a sport utility vehicle driven by Robin Grantz, 29, of North Apollo, Armstrong County collided at Main and Wayne streets.1:42 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Wilda Faber, 85, of Butler Township struck a curb on Renaissance Drive, blowing out a tire. Faber lost control of the car and struck a tree in the middle of the traffic island.

Thursday - A "spud missile" attack was reported in Center Township.Someone between 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and 12:01 a.m. Thursday fired a potato gun, damaging a window at a Jamisonville Road home. The vandalism caused about $200 in damage.Thursday - A Jensen stereo/compact disc player and equalizer, along with an MTX amplifier and speakers, were taken between 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday from a vehicle at the Rolling Valley Lane home of James Wilson in Connoquenessing. The stolen property is valued at $810.Thursday - A miter saw valued at $200 was taken in a burglary between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday at the Hall Road home of Anthony Rossi in Clay Township.Thursday - A counterfeit $5 bill was received between 2 and 4 p.m. at the McDonald's restaurant at Clearview Circle in Center Township.4:30 p.m. Wednesday - An unidentified vehicle, possibly a maroon Dodge Caravan, struck a mailbox and newspaper box on New Castle Road in Connoquenessing Township, and did not stop following the crash.3:20 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Elizabeth Gordish, no age given, of Cranberry Township struck an embankment along Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.8:18 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Tawnya Schuey, no age given, of Worthington, Armstrong County, and a sport utility vehicle driven by April Mottern, no age given, of Fenelton collided on Route 422 in Clearfield Township. Both drivers, who were wearing seatbelts, suffered minor injuries.

10:11 a.m. Thursday - A suspected illegal alien from Honduras was arrested following a traffic stop in Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County. The 54-year-old suspect was turned over to the custody of the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.11:03 a.m. July 31 - Cars driven by Andrea Ruditis, 22, of Franklin, Venango County, and Thomas Plunkett, 30, of Grove City collided on Route 208 in Springfield Township, Mercer County.

3:17 p.m. Aug. 11 - Mark Mazzoni, no age given, of Evans City crashed along Lindsay Road when he swerved to avoid a car that had stopped in front of him to make a turn. Mazzoni's car went into a yard, damaging the lawn and knocking down a sign. He was cited for speeding and accidents involving damage to unattended property.12:22 p.m. Aug. 10 - Jonathan Davis, 19, of Zelienople was traveling north on Route 19 about 1.4-mile from Lindsay Road intersection, when the car in front of him braked causing Davis to brake and skid on the wet road. The vehicle struck a concrete barrier.
