Wednesday — Multiple vehicles in the Bon Aire neighborhood on Delwood and Teakwood roads and Jarrett Avenue were broken into overnight, police said. An attempted break-in at a garage on Homewood Drive was also reported. The public is reminded to lock their vehicles, take valuables inside and report suspicious activity to police.

Thursday — A Butler woman was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $54.27 in merchandise from the Walmart at Butler Commons. Police said the store’s loss prevention team stopped Erica L McCloskey, 21, when she allegedly failed to pay for the items.
