6:09 p.m. Saturday — Richard Burkhart, 44, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Center Avenue. Burkhart was also cited for driving with an obstructed license plate and an invalid inspection sticker.1:18 a.m. Saturday — Richard Fairtrace, 34, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Jessica Nicholas, 33, at their Negley Avenue home. Fairtrace is charged with simple assault.Saturday — Jerry Phillips Jr., 19, is accused of hosting an underage drinking party at his Morton Avenue home. Police cited Phillips with furnishing alcohol to minors and underage drinking. Police issued 10 other citations for underage drinking.

1:30 a.m. Sunday — A 2002 GMC Yukon was reportedly stolen from Ghost Riders on Route 8 in Center Township.The vehicle's owner, Marc Iarrapino of Butler, told police that he left his keys to the Yukon on a table at the club sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 a.m. Sunday, when the vehicle was discovered stolen.11:50 p.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old Zelienople girl, who police did not identify, struck an embankment, flipped onto its roof and slid into a tree on Burnside Road in Muddy Creek Township.A 15-year-old Cranberry Township girl, who was riding in the pickup and wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. The 17-year-old was cited for driving too fast for conditions.10 p.m. Saturday — James Niederriter, 45, was arrested for allegedly assaulting Teresa Guiste, 31, of Butler during a domestic dispute at the defendant's Boyers Road home in Harrisville. Guiste suffered an undisclosed injury in the assault.Police charged Niederriter with simple assault. He was arraigned and placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of a $3,000 bond.5 a.m. Saturday — Russell Scheffer, 24, of Franklin, Venango County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle slid into a grassy center median and became stuck in the soft ground on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. Police also cited Scheffer for driving with a suspended license and other traffic violations.2:02 a.m. Saturday — Yvonne Graham, 27, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 422 in Summit Township.1:30 a.m. Saturday — David Lee McCorry, 22, of Clearfield Township is accused of vandalizing a green at the Serene Valley/Gold Course in Summit Township. Police cited McCorry for criminal mischief.Saturday — Ralph Joseph of Slippery Rock told police that between 4:45 and 10:45 p.m. someone smashed out a window and stole undisclosed items from his vehicle parked at a pull-off area on Route 108 near I-79 in Worth Township.Saturday — Several undisclosed items were taken from a car in the South Rock Apartments parking lot on Harmony Drive in Slippery Rock Township. The theft occurred between 9 p.m. Friday and 8:40 a.m. Saturday. Tyson Harvey of Northumberland, Pa., owns the stolen property.5:20 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Glenn Franceschina, 53, of Valencia struck a guardrail and utility pole along Dinnerbell Road near Golden City Road in Jefferson Township. Police said Franceschina fled the crash site, leaving the pickup behind in the front yard of a home.10:35 p.m. March 16 — Kevin Wolf, 21, of Franklin Township was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his car struck the rear of another car on Route 422 near Purvis Road in Franklin Township.Brandon Betty, 21, of Center Township, who was driving the other car, and Samantha Ivill, 20, of Connoquenessing Township, a passenger in Betty's car, suffered minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.March 16 — An unidentified vehicle struck a utility pole between 11 and 11:57 p.m. on Winfield Road in Winfield Township. The unknown driver than drove off in the vehicle.10:30 p.m. March 3 — Ross Newell, no age given, of Center Township was arrested for drunken driving on West Jefferson Street in Butler. Police later charged her with DUI.

1:25 a.m. Friday — Michael Sample, 41, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 258 near Route 208 in Springfield Township.

6 a.m. Tuesday — Marguerite Fusco, 48, of New Castle lost control of her sport utility vehicle on ice-covered Route 422 and crashed into the side of the Rose Point Bridge in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.After the crash, Fusco's car hit a Peterbilt truck, driven by Ronald Weaver, 72, of Prospect, crossing the bridge in the opposite direction. Fusco, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.About 30 minutes later, a van driven by Alan Paul, 44, of Butler Township skidded on the same ice-covered bridge and hit a guardrail just past the span.
