HARRISVILLE — The Harrisville Community Band will hold its annual spring concert at 7 p.m. Friday at the Harrisville Fire Hall, East Mercer Street.The nearly 40 member band was created in 1965 and is directed by Becky Sopher of Harrisville.Admission is free.

BUTLER TWP — A Families Forever Seminar, hosted by Lifesteps and Family Services of Butler Memorial Hospital, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at Family First Resource Center, 216 N. Washington St., Butler.The seminar will focus on minimizing the effects of divorce on children.A program for children in grades one through six will be held simultaneously.Cost is $50 for adults and free for children. LYNDORA — Aspaghetti dinner will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Tanglewood Center, 10 Austin Ave., to benefit the American Cancer Society.Admission is $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children ages 4 to 12. The event is sponsored by the Realtors for a Cure Relay for Life team from Coldwell Banker.
PENN TWP — Tickets are now available for the 2007 Chef Tasting Party and Auction, presented by Prudential Preferred Realty to benefit Community Care Connections.The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Mansion, 141 Mansion Lane.
