1:55 p.m. Monday — The owner of Harmony Castings told police that during the past several weeks, 19 equipment parts, including four tractor oil pans and 15 other cast aluminum parts, valued at $12,930, have been taken from the business at 251 Perry Highway.4:50 p.m. Sunday — Kenneth Ray Lohr III, 23, of Evans City was arrested on drug-related charges after police allegedly found him with three stamp bags of suspected heroin following a traffic stop for speeding on Hartmann Road.9:51 a.m. Nov. 9 — An employee at Bilo Foods in the Northgate Plaza on Route 19 said a man in his 40s, wearing a black T-shirt and ball cap drove off in a blue Chevrolet Corsica after filling his shopping cart with nearly $400 in items.The man drove off with the shoplifted merchandise, which included eight cartons of cigarettes, hot chicken, two bottles of Gatorade, two bags of chips and 20-pound bag of dog food.9:07 p.m. Nov. 7 — A vehicle driven by Carrie Susan Czar, 22, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, struck a deer on Route 19 and damaged the undercarriage of the vehicle, causing the gasoline tank to puncture and spill fuel on the highway.The towing service spread drying materials to clean up the fuel spill, police said.8:30 p.m. Nov. 6 — Franklin David Shipley, 20, of Harmony and David Michael Foley, 22, of Mars, were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a brief chase after the all-terrain vehicles they were driving crashed in a wooded area off North Washington Street.The chase began after police spotted the men driving recklessly in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven plaza near Routes 68 and 528.4:15 p.m. Oct. 31 — Richard Double Jr., 50, of Lyndora said a tool box and a bin of hockey equipment valued at $800 were taken from his vehicle at Anterettes Body Shop.
10:06 a.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Richard Klingensmith, 76, of Templeton and William Kopar, 73, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, collided on Route 28 and Pine Furnace Road in Valley Township, Armstrong County.
12:55 a.m. Thursday — Derek Hedglen, 23, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Springfield Church Road in Jackson Township, Mercer County He was also cited for speeding, driving too fast for conditions and careless driving.9:45 p.m. Tuesday — Edward Sigurani, no age given, of Girard, Ohio, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana on Interstate 80 in Findley Township, Mercer County.Sigurani was also arrested on trademark counterfeiting charges after police found him with "knock-off" NFL jerseys and Harley Davidson jackets. The counterfeit clothing had an estimated street value of $20,000.
